  1. What is the Double Data prepaid promo and who is eligible?

    For a limited time if you activate a device on a new prepaid line, you can receive twice as much data for the same monthly costTT.

    To be eligible for the Double Data promo, you must:

    • Activate one of the following devices on a new prepaid line:
      • Smartphone
      • 4G LTE basic flip phone
      • Tablet
      • Jetpack®
    • Sign up for one of the following plans on the new line:
      • $30 por mes
      • $40 por mes
      • $50 por mes
      • $70 Monthly (Tablet and Jetpack plan)

    Note: The $70 Unlimited prepaid plan isn’t eligible for this promotion.

  2. How much data will I get with the Double Data prepaid promo?

    Eligible lines will receive the following data amounts each month, based on the plan they have:

    • $30 Monthly - 1 GB
    • $40 Monthly - 6 GB
    • $50 Monthly - 16 GB
    • $70 Monthly - 30 GB (Tablet and Jetpack plan)

    If you use all of your high-speed data, you can continue to using data at reduced speeds with Always-On Data or purchase additional high-speed data through My Verizon.

  3. Can more than one line on my Prepaid Family Account participate in the Double Data promo?

    Yes, you can add more than one new line to your Prepaid Family account (up to 10 lines total) and receive double data on all the eligible new lines.

  4. If I transfer a line from an existing prepaid account to my Prepaid Family Account, is that line eligible for the Double Data promo?

    No, only new line activations are eligible for the Double Data promo.

  5. Can I receive the Prepaid Family Account discount and Auto Pay discount on lines participating in the Double Data promo?

    Yes, eligible Prepaid Family Account lines can receive the Prepaid Family Account discount y Descuento por pago automático, while participating in the Double Data promo.

  6. Will I lose my double data on my prepaid line if I change my plan?

    As long you switch to a plan that's eligible for the Double Data promo, you'll be able to continue receiving double data.

    For example, you could switch from the $40 Monthly (6 GB) plan to the $50 Monthly plan and receive 16 GB/month.

Get 15 GB for $45 prepaid promo

  1. What was the Get 15 GB for $45 prepaid promo?

    Any new or existing prepaid line* that signed up for the $50 Monthly - 8 GB prepaid plan between 1/24/19 and 5/20/19 received 7 GB of bonus data each month.

    Plus, when you're signed up for Auto Pay, you save an additional $5/month per line. That gives you 15 GB for just $45/month.

    This promo is no longer available. If you're already receiving the 7 GB of bonus data, you'll continue to receive it, as long as you remain on the $50 Monthly - 8 GB prepaid plan and your account remains active, with enough funds to cover your monthly plan costs.

    *Lines on an unlimited prepaid plan weren't eligible for this promotion.

  2. Can my 7 GB of bonus data from the Get 15 GB for $45 prepaid promo carry over to the next month if I don't use it?

    No, the $50 Monthly - 8 GB prepaid plan doesn't have Carryover Data, and the 7 GB of bonus data won't carry over to the next month if you don't use it.

  3. Is Always-On Data compatible with the Get 15 GB for $45 prepaid promo?

    Yes, if you use all your high-speed data on the $50 Monthly prepaid plan (including the additional 7 GB of bonus data), you'll still be able to use data at 2G speeds with no overage charges.

  4. I'm participating in the Get 15 GB for $45 prepaid promo. Where can I see my 7 GB of bonus data in My Verizon?

    You can see your 7 GB of bonus data in the Data hub of the My Verizon app. It will be included in your monthly plan data amount (i.e., where it used to say 8 GB, it will now say 15 GB).

    To get to the Data hub in the My Verizon app:

  5. Will I keep getting my 7 GB of bonus data from the Get 15 GB for $45 prepaid promo if I switch to a different plan?

    If you switch to another plan and switch back to the $50 Monthly - 8 GB prepaid plan, you won't receive the 7 GB of bonus data.

  6. If I cancel Auto Pay, will I keep getting my 7 GB of bonus data from the Get 15 GB for $45 prepaid promo?

    Yes, you'll continue to receive your 7 GB of bonus data each month, as long as you remain on the $50 Monthly - 8 GB prepaid plan and your account is active.

    However, you'll no longer receive the $5/month Auto Pay discount, so your plan cost will go back to its original amount of $50/month.
