Nota Notas:

  • The Find My Mobile service allows users to manage and control their missing device remotely using the Find My Mobile website.
  • Remote controls must be enabled to utilize the Find My Mobile service.
  • Location must be enabled for the device to be remotely located.
  • Network connection (Cellular and/or WiFi) is required to enable and disable Anti-Theft Protection on the device.

To register and activate the device for the Find My Mobile service (applies only to Samsung devices running Android 5.0 or less):

  1. Ensure you're signed in with your Samsung account.
    Nota To add a Samsung account, navigate: Apps > Settings > (Accounts) Add Account > Samsung account then follow the prompts.
  2. Desde una de las pantallas de inicio, ve a: Apps Ícono de la aplicación > Settings > Security.
  3. Tap Remote controls.
  4. Enter the Samsung account password then tap Confirm (located in the lower-right).
  5. From the Introduction to remote controls screen, tap OK (located at the bottom).
  6. Tap the Remote controls switch (located in the upper-right) to turn on.
  7. Tap Google location service to enable then tap Agree from the Location consent prompt.

  9. Tap Reactivation lock to enable or disable.

    Nota Reactivation lock prevents the missing device from being reactivated.
    Nota The reactivation lock must be turned off before a warranty return.
  10. From the Reactivation lock prompt, tap OK.
  11. Enter the Samsung account password then tap Confirm (located in the lower-right).
