Removing then re-adding your email often fixes login and not receiving email issues.
The Backup Assistant Plus Email (Sync and Connect) service was discontinued on 3/16/16.

From a Home screen, tap Apps.
- Oprime Email.

From an Inbox, tap the Menu button
(in the lower-right).
- Oprime Configuración.
