Samsung Chromebook Plus - Add a Virtual Private Network

A virtual private network (VPN) encrypts your internet traffic and protects your online identity via a secured remote server and is most commonly used when remotely accessing company systems (e.g., company email, intranet sites, etc.).
 

  1. Desde la pantalla de inicio, ve hasta: el ícono Apps Ícono de la aplicación > Settings Ícono Settings.
  2. Next to Add connection, tap the Dropdown menu Dropdown icon
  3. Tap Add OpenVPN / L2TP.
  4. If presented with a lock screen notification, tap OK.
  5. From the 'Server hostname' field, enter the appropriate name.
    Nota Contact the VPN admin for assistance with server info and credentials.
  6. From the 'Provider type' field, tap the Dropdown menu Dropdown icon (on the right) then select the VPN type:
    • L2P2/IPSec + pre-shared key
    • L2P2/IPSec + user credentials
    • Open VPN
  7. Enter the required info into the applicable fields then tap Connect (lower-right).
    Nota If applicable, tap (check) Save identity and password to turn on Indicador Off o desactivar Indicador On.
