Samsung Galaxy J7 V / J7 (2nd Gen.) - Manually Add a Wi-Fi Network

Nota Wi-Fi network info is required to complete several steps. Refer to the network administrator for assistance.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up then navigate: Settings Ícono Settings > Connections Connections icon > Wi-Fi.
  2. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch (upper-right) is turned on Interruptor en On.
  3. Tap Add network.
  4. From the Network name (SSID) field, enter the appropriate name.
  5. From the Security field, tap the Dropdown menu Ícono de menú desplegable.
  6. Selecciona la opción de seguridad apropiada:
    Nota Si usas una red abierta (None), salta al paso 8.
    • Ninguno
    • WEP
    • WPA/WPA2 PSK
    • 802.1x EAP
  7. En el campo Password, ingresa la contraseña adecuada.
    Nota Para ver la contraseña mientras la escribes, oprime (marca) Show password.
  8. Ensure additional settings (e.g., EAP method, CA certificate, etc.) are configured appropriately (if applicable) then tap Connect.
