moto g6 - Turn Wi-Fi Calling On / Off

When turned on, Wi-Fi Calling may improve call quality while indoors.

Nota Notas:

  • For Wi-Fi Calling to work, verify:
    • Wi-Fi is encendido y conectado.
    • HD Voice is activados first while in the Verizon wireless coverage area (can't be activated internationally).
  • Wi-Fi calls always originate in US, even when you are outside of the US.
    • Calls to US numbers are not billed (except for 411 or other premium calls).
    • Calls to international numbers are billed according to your international long distance plan.

 

  1. From a Home screen, tap the Phone icon Phone icon (lower-left).
    Nota If unavailable, swipe up to display all apps then tap Phone.
  2. Oprime el ícono Menu Action overflow icon (upper-right) then tap Settings.
  3. Tap Calls.
  4. Oprime Wi-Fi Calling.
  5. Tap the Wi-Fi Calling switch (upper-right) to turn on Interruptor en On o desactivar Interruptor en Off.
    Nota If prompted, review the info then tap TURN OFF WI-FI CALLING to confirm.
    Nota If activating Wi-Fi Calling for the first time:
    1. Review the Terms & Conditions then tap CONTINUE to proceed.
      Nota Ensure the Terms & Conditions option is checked Marca.
    2. Enter the emergency location info (E911) address then tap SAVE.
      Precaución This info gets transmitted to the emergency dispatcher for all 911 Wi-Fi calls. If address validation fails, you will be required to re-enter a valid address.
      Nota Upon successful validation of the address, Wi-Fi Calling turns on.

 

Nota To select your calling preference while traveling outside the Verizon wireless coverage area or internationally, ensure Wi-Fi calling is turned on, tap When roaming, select 'Prefer other cellular networks' or 'Prefer Wi-Fi' then restart the device.
