moto z2 force edition - Add a Virtual Private Network

A virtual private network (VPN) encrypts your internet traffic and protects your online identity via a secured remote server and is most commonly used when remotely accessing company systems (e.g., company email, intranet sites, etc.).

Nota Contact the VPN admin for assistance with server info and credentials.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings Ícono Settings > Network & internet Network and Internet icon > Advanced.
  3. Tap VPN.
  4. Tap the Add icon ícono del signo más (esquina superior derecha).
  5. If presented with a lock screen notification, tap OK.

  6. En el campo Name, ingresa el nombre apropiado.

  7. From the Type field, PPP encryption (MPPE) is checked by default. If another encryption type is preferred, tap the Dropdown menu Ícono de menú desplegable (right) then select the VPN type:
    • PPTP
    • L2TP/IPSec PSK
    • L2TP/IPSec RSA
    • IPSec Xauth PSK
    • IPSec Xauth RSA
    • IPSec Hybrid RSA
  8. Enter the required info into the applicable fields then tap Save (lower-right).
    Nota If applicable, tap Show advanced options to configure the following:

    • DNS servers
    • Forwarding routes

  9. If PPP encryption (MPPE) is the preferred connection, scroll down and tap Username and Password.
