Verizon Jetpack® MiFi® 7730L - Restore Settings to Factory Defaults

If your Jetpack powers off on its own, crashes and resets, freezes, won't charge or runs slow, view this info.

Advertencia Restore Settings to Factory Defaults only if absolutely necessary as it removes all modified settings including Network Name (SSID), Wi-Fi/Admin Password, etc.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Menu (located in the lower-left).
    Nota If necessary, press the Power button (located on the top-right edge) to turn on the display.
  2. Oprime Configuración.
  3. Tap Factory Reset.
  4. Tap Factory Reset again.
  5. To continue, review the disclaimer then tap Confirm.
    Nota Allow several minutes for the reset process to complete.
    Nota After restoring to factory defaults, ensure Configuraciones de control de energía are set to the preferred options.
  6. If the steps above don't work, try one of the following:

 

Button Reset

Remove the battery cover then, with the device powered on, press the Reset button (using a paperclip or similar tool) for 10 seconds or until 'MiFi resetting' appears on the display.
Master Reset button

Admin site reset

  1. Accede a la Admin Web Interface.
  2. From the Jetpack tab, click Backup and Restore (below the Jetpack tab, to the right).
  3. From the Restore to Factory Defaults section, click Restore Factory Defaults.
  4. To continue, review the info then click Confirm.
    Nota Allow several minutes for the restore process to complete.
    Nota After restoring to factory defaults, ensure Configuraciones de control de energía are set to the preferred options.
