First time setup and activation - out of the box experience - ASUS ZenPad™ Z10

  1. If powered off, press and hold the Power button until the ASUS logo appears then release.

  2. From the Welcome screen, select the appropriate language then tap Next (located at the bottom).

  3. If presented with the Verify your account screen, do the following:
    1. Enter the last 4 digits of the account owner's social security number or billing password then follow the onscreen prompts.
    2. Turn off your old device to ensure the activation process completes.
  4. From the Tablet Activation screen, tap Next.
  5. From the Select Wi-Fi screen, select the desired network or tap Skip.
    Nota If applicable, enter the appropriate password when prompted.
  6. From the Add your account (Google) screen, do one of the following:
    • To add an existing account, click aquí.
    • To create a new Google account, click aquí.
  7. From the Protect your phone screen, tap NEXT then select one of the following to set up screen lock:
    Nota If you'd like to skip screen lock, de-select (uncheck) Protect this device then tap NEXT.
  8. If presented with the "Which device?" screen, select a device to restore apps and data from or tap Don't restore.
  9. From the Email accounts screen, add your email account(s). Click aquí to see how.
  10. From the Summary screen, tap Done (located at the bottom).
  11. Congratulations! Your device set up is complete!

Configuración de email

Corporate Email Setup (Exchange Active Sync)

  1. Enter your corporate email address and password then tap Next (located in the lower-right).
    Nota If presented with an Incoming server settings screen, refer to manual set up.
  2. If presented with a Remote security administration prompt, tap OK to confirm.
  3. Configure the account options (e.g., Inbox checking frequency, etc.) as necessary then tap Next.
  4. If presented with an Activate device administrator screen, tap Activate.

Manually Setup Corporate Email Setup (Exchange Active Sync)

Nota Contact your Exchange / IT Administrator for assistance with server info and credentials.

  1. Ensure that the appropriate info is entered into the following fields then tap Next:

Agregar una cuenta de Google existente

  1. Enter the email address then tap NEXT (located in the lower right).
  2. Enter the email password then tap NEXT.
  3. To continue, review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap ACCEPT (located in the lower-right).
  4. From the Google services screen, select any of the following to enable or disable then tap NEXT (may require scrolling to the bottom).

  5. From the Set up payment info screen, select No thanks then tap CONTINUE.

  6. If presented to restore apps and data from a previous device, tap Don't restore.

Crear una cuenta de Google nueva

  1. Enter the appropriate name into the following fields then tap NEXT (located in the lower right).

  2. Locate the Username field and enter the desired username then tap NEXT.
  3. Enter then re-enter the preferred password then tap NEXT.

  4. From the Rescue info screen, ensure the correct phone number is listed then tap NEXT.
  5. From the Confirm phone number screen, ensure the correct phone number is listed then tap Send It.
  6. Tap AGREE to accept the terms and conditions.
  7. Tap NEXT.
  8. From the Google services screen, tap Keep me up to date... to enable or disable then tap NEXT.

  9. From the Set up payment info screen, select Remind me later then tap NEXT.

Set Up Pattern Lock

    • Don't show notifications at all

Set Up PIN Lock

Existing Customers (Only applies if upgrading from a Verizon device)

Nota If you're upgrading from iPhone®, you need to desactivar iMessage antes de activar tu nuevo teléfono.

  1. Save contacts and content from your original phone using the Transfer Wizard.
  2. Start the activation process by calling (877) 807-4646 from any phone other than your new phone and follow the prompts.
    Nota Have your customer receipt available because you are asked to confirm purchase information
  3. Turn off your original phone.

Desactiva iMessage®

  1. On your iPhone go to Settings.
  2. Oprime Messages.
  3. If the indicator next to the iMessage switch is green, tap or slide the switch to turn it off.
    Nota When the feature is turned off, the switch is all white
