    • Tap the Menu icon (upper-left) then check Version number.
    • Tap More (lower-right) then tap About and check version number.

  • Ensure all devices (Guardians, Caregivers, etc.) update to the most recent version of the GizmoHub app.

  • The GizmoPal 2 cannot activate if you have a data, text or Caller ID block on either the Gizmo device or the caregiver's smartphone.
  • If you're activating a replacement GizmoPal 2, delete the previous device using the following navigation in GizmoHub app: Settings > About Gizmo > Menu icon Ícono de menú (upper-right) then tap Delete this Gizmo.

 

  1. Press the Play key on the Gizmo device to turn it on. You'll hear audible prompts telling you that it's activating.
    Nota If activation isn't successful, then press the Call key.

  2. Once alerted that the activation is complete, install the GizmoHub app on your Apple device.
  3. If not already open, tap the GizmoHub app from one of the Apple device's Home screens then tap Get Started.

  4. From the 'Prepare Your Gizmo' screen, tap Next.

  5. From the 'Identify Your Gizmo' screen, enter the Gizmo device's phone number then tap Done.

  6. Oprime Next.
  7. From the 'Link Your Phone to Gizmo' screen, enter the number of the device you are pairing with the Gizmo then enter again to confirm.

  8. Tap Your Relationship and choose the appropriate option then tap Next.
  9. From the 'Saving Phone Number' pop-up, tap OK.

  10. From the 'Personalize Your Gizmo' screen, enter the child's name then choose a color and avatar or photo.

  11. Oprime Next.
  12. From the 'Set Up Security PIN' screen, tap Set PIN (upper-right).

  13. Ingresa y luego confirma tu número de identificación personal (PIN) de 4 dígitos.
  14. Tap OK to prompt the smartphone to receive a security code via text.
    Nota If you don't receive the text with the code, make sure the mobile numbers for both devices were entered correctly. To troubleshoot further, follow estas instrucciones.
  15. Enter the security code then tap Next.

  16. Cuando Gizmo te lo indique, oprime el ícono Play Ícono de la aplicación (en Gizmo) para vincular los dispositivos.
  17. Tap Yes to add the GizmoPal number to your contacts list.
  18. From the 'Gizmo Hub Would Like to Access Your Contacts' screen, tap OK then tap Done.

  4. From the 'Create an Account' screen, tap Get Started.

  5. From the 'Let's Get Started!' screen, choose one of the following:
  6. Enter your email address and password, then tap Sign In.

  7. Tap Add Your Child's Info then enter the following:
    Nota If you're activating a replacement GizmoPal 2, skip to paso 9.
    • Nombre
    • Sexo
    • Birth Month
    • Birth Year
    • Your relationship to child
  8. Tap Add Child.
  9. Tap Add Gizmo.
  10. Tap Get Started.
    Nota When prompted, tap Allow.
  11. Oprime una de las siguientes opciones:
    • Scan QR Code
      Nota Scan the QR Code on the face of your Gizmo by lining it up inside the window.
    • Don't have a QR Code
      Nota Enter the number found on the GizmoPal's screen, then tap Next.
  12. Tap the End Call button on the Gizmo to begin the pairing process.
  13. From the 'Success' screen tap Continue.
  14. From the 'Set up Security PIN' screen, enter a security PIN with the Gizmo then re-enter it to confirm.
    Nota If you don't want a Security PIN, tap Skip.

  15. From the GizmoHub navigation screen, tap X to enter the app.
