Add a Personal Email Account - Windows® 8

Notas The Mail app doesn't support POP (Post Office Protocol) accounts. To set up a POP account, otras opciones are available from Microsoft.

  1. From the Start screen, tap or click Mail.
    Nota Utilize the touchscreen (if available) or mouse to select on-screen options.
    Nota If not available, do one of the following:
    • Swipe up (starting from the middle of the screen) to display the Apps screen then tap Mail.
    • Click the down arrow icon Icono de flecha hacia abajo (located in the lower-left) to display the Apps screen then select Mail.

    Nota If using a mouse, move the pointer to the upper or lower-right corner of the Start screen then move up/down.
    Nota Alternatively, press the Windows+C keys ( logo de la tecla windows+C) located on the physical keyboard (if available).

  3. Selecciona Settings.

  4. Select Accounts.
  5. Select Add an account.
  6. Select the account type (e.g., Google, Yahoo!, Other account, AOL).
    Nota includes Hotmail, Live, and MSN.
  7. If presented, select IMAP then select Connect (located in the lower-right).

  8. Enter the appropriate email address and password then select Connect.
    Nota If account settings aren't auto-detected, the settings can be entered de forma manual (comienza con el paso 6).
