Remove Modem - Windows®

Nota If your Windows operating system is unknown, refer to Determining Software Version - Windows.

  1. Open the Phone and Modem/Devices control panel.
    • Windows 10
      1. Right-click Start.
      2. Select Control Panel.
      3. Click Phone and Modem.
    • Windows 8
      1. Right-click Start.
      2. Select Control Panel.
      3. In the search box, enter "phone" then click Phone and Modem.
    • Windows 7/Vista
      1. Select Start.
      2. Select Control Panel.
      3. Select Hardware and Sound.
    • Windows XP
      1. Select Start > (Settings) > Control Panel > (Network and Internet Connections) > Phone and Modem Options.
      2. If presented with a New Location screen, click the general tab, enter a location name and the area code then click OK.
  2. From the Modem's location (e.g., Modem tab, Other devices, section, etc.), select the appropriate modem then click Remove.
    Nota Los módems duplicados aparecen con el nombre #x (por ej., Motorola Modem #3).
  3. Haz clic en .
    Nota If prompted, click Continue.
  4. Haz clic en OK.
  5. Close any open apps and reinicia la computadora y vuelve a probar la conexión.
