    Setting up the My Numbers app

    You can add the My Numbers app to a maximum of 5 smartphones using the same My Numbers account.

    Follow these steps to set up the My Numbers app on your smartphone:

    1. Open the My Numbers app.
    2. Oprime Get Started.
    3. You will need a Verizon Wireless number to set up your My Numbers account.
    4. Tap confirm to authenticate the number.
    5. You will then be authenticated or you may be sent a PIN.  If this is not the number you want the PIN sent to, tap Enter a different number and enter the number you want to receive the PIN.
    6. The PIN will be sent to the number you entered via a text message.
    7. Enter that PIN into the Pin Verification page. 

    You've successfully set up the My Numbers app.

    Subscribe to a number with the My Numbers app for the first time

    You can add up to 4 numbers with the My Numbers app. Each number costs $15/month.

    1. Open the My Numbers app. 
    2. Review the Subscription Plans page and tap Search.
    3. From the Select Your Country dropdown select United States. 
    4. Enter the area code that you want for your number and tap Search. Si no hay números disponibles con el código de área que quieres, podrás buscar un número con un código de área diferente. Si no hay más números disponibles en tu estado, puedes elegir un número de otro estado.
    5. A list of full numbers will display. Choose the one you want and tap I Want This Number.
    6. Read the Notice of 911, 711 and TTY Limitations and tap Agree to continue.
    7. Review your subscription and tap Subscribe Now.
    8. Enter your billing ZIP code and tap Subscribe Now.
    9. A confirmation screen will appear displaying your new number. Tap Okay to close and get started.

    You've successfully added a phone number with the My Numbers app.

    Make and Receive Calls with My Numbers

    Making a call

    1. Open the My Numbers app.
    2. Tap on the blue dialer button in the bottom right corner.
    3. Select the number that you want to use to call someone from the header section (If you have multiple phone numbers in My Numbers).
    4. Select a contact or use the dialer to enter a number to call.
    5. Tap the phone icon.

    You've successfully called someone using a My Numbers phone number.

    Receiving a call

    When you receive a call in the My Numbers app, swipe the green phone icon to answer the call. The top of the screen will display which number is being called (if you have multiple phone numbers in My Numbers).

    Send and Receive Text Messages with My Numbers

    Send a text message

    1. Open the My Numbers app.
    2. Tap on the pencil icon on the upper right of the Home screen
    3. Select the number you want to send a text from (if you have multiple phone numbers in My Numbers)
    4. On the New Message screen enter the phone number or select the contact you want to message.
    5. Tap the name or number when fully entered
    6. Write your message and send it.

    You've successfully sent a text message in the My Numbers app.

    Receive a text message

    When a text is received on a My Numbers phone number a notification will appear on your phone's home screen or the app icon will have a badge counter indicating the number of unread messages.

    Record Custom Voicemail Greeting

    In the My Numbers app you can record your own custom voicemail greeting that others will hear when they reach your voicemail.

    To record a voicemail greeting:

    1. Open the My Numbers app.
    2. From the Home screen click the Sidebar menu (three lines on the upper left).
    3. Oprime Configuración.
    4. Tap Voicemail greeting.
    5. Tap Change greeting.
    6. Tap the red record button to begin recording. The progress bar will show how long your recording is.
    7. When you're finished recording your greeting tap the Stop button with the black square.
    8. Tap the Play button to listen to your greeting.
    9. If you're happy with your greeting message, tap Save. To delete your saved voicemail greeting, tap Delete.
    View My Subscription information

    In the My Numbers app you can find details about your subscription(s) including the subscription period for each number, applicable fees and charges.

    1. Open the My Numbers app.
    2. From the Home screen click the Sidebar menu (three lines on the upper left).
    3. Tap Manage subscriptions.
    4. Select the number you want to view.
    5. This will take you to the Manage Subscriptions page where you can view your subscription details.
    Customize Number Settings

    To help you better organize your numbers you can customize them by assigning a name, ringtone and icon.

    Nombre
    Add a custom name that others will see when receiving your call. If you have multiple numbers follow these steps to add a custom name for each one.

    1. Open the My Numbers app.
    2. From the Home screen click the Sidebar menu (three lines on the upper left).
    3. Select the number that you want to customize from the header section (If you have multiple phone numbers in My Numbers).
    4. Oprime Configuración.
    5. On the Number setting screen select Name.
    6. Type in the new desired name.

    You've successfully set a name for that number.

    Timbre

    You can assign a ringtone to your number(s) in the My Numbers app to help you know which number is being called. If you have multiple numbers follow these steps to add a ringtone to each one.

    1. Open the My Numbers app.
    2. From the Home screen click the Sidebar menu (three lines on the upper left).
    3. Select the number that you want to customize from the header section (If you have multiple phone numbers in My Numbers).
    4. Oprime Configuración.
    5. On the Number Settings screen select Ringtone.
    6. Select from the list of provided ringtones.

    You've successfully changed the Ringtone for that number.

    Icon

    You can assign an icon to your number(s) in the My Numbers app for others to see when you call them. If you have multiple numbers follow these steps to add a ringtone to each one.

    1. Open the My Numbers app.
    2. From the Home screen click the sidebar menu (three lines on the upper left).
    3. Select the number that you want to customize from the header section (If you have multiple phone numbers in My Numbers).
    4. Toca Configuración.
    5. On the Number Settings screen select Icon.
    6. Select from the list of provided icons.

    You've successfully changed the icon for that number.

    Listen to my Voicemail in My Numbers

    If someone leaves a voicemail for one of your added numbers you can listen to it with the My Numbers app.

    1. Open the My Numbers app.
    2. Tap on the blue dialer button in the bottom right corner.
    3. Tap the voicemail button on the bottom right (two circles connected by a line).
    4. You will see a list of voicemails you have available.
    5. Tap on the voicemail you wish to hear.
    6. Tap the play button to hear your message (black triangle to the left of your message).
    7. You can also choose to delete (trashcan), turn on the speaker (speak icon) or call the person that left you the message (phone icon).

    You've successfully listened to a voicemail sent to a My Numbers phone number.

    Removing a My Numbers Phone Number from a Device

    You can remove numbers from a device with the My Numbers app without unsubscribing from that number. Only devices with that number will receive calls and text messages made to that number.

    1. Open the My Numbers app.
    2. From the Home screen tap the sidebar menu (three lines on the upper left).
    3. Select the number that you want to remove from the header section (If you have multiple phone numbers in My Numbers).
    4. Oprime Configuración.
    5. On the Number setting screen select Remove this Line. Click on the Remove Line button to confirm.

    You've successfully removed that number from your device.  Removing a number will immediately clear all logs and message history from the app on this device.  This will not cancel your subscription to that phone number.  To cancel the subscription refer to the Cancel Your Subscription to a Phone Number in My Numbers section of this guide.

    Cancel Your Subscription to a Phone Number in My Numbers

    To cancel your subscription to a number follow these steps:

    1. Open the My Numbers app.
    2. From the Home screen click the Sidebar menu (three lines on the upper left).
    3. Tap Manage subscriptions.
    4. Select the number you want to cancel.
    5. Tap Cancel Subscription on the bottom of screen.
    6. Confirm your selection with Cancel Subscription.

    You've successfully cancelled your subscription to that phone number.  You must repeat this process for each number you wish to cancel.

    You may still make and receive calls until the end of your subscription cycle. Your calling, messaging and voicemail history and content will be erased at the end of the subscription cycle.  Remember to back up any important information prior to such date.

    You can reactivate a cancelled number within 30 days of cancelling.

    Reactivate a Phone Number with My Numbers

    If you've cancelled a phone number in the My Numbers app you can reactivate it within 30 days of when you cancelled.  After 30 days, you will no longer have the option to reactivate such number.

    To reactivate a cancelled number:

    1. Open the My Numbers app.
    2. Tap Add a number.
    3. In the Reactivate Number section tap the number you want to reactivate.
    4. Tap Reactivate Subscription.
