GizmoHub 3.0 is the newest version of the GizmoHub app.

  2. What can I do with the GizmoHub 3.0 app?

The GizmoHub app lets you call, find and control your Gizmo wearable devices. You'll need to download and install the app on your phone to set up your Gizmos. Once they're set up, you can use the app to:

    • Find your child - Check the location of your child's Gizmo with just one tap. You can also schedule a time for the Gizmo to automatically check your child’s location or set GPS boundaries and get notified if your child crosses them.
    • Add contacts - Invite Buddies, Caregivers and other Guardians who can call the Gizmo and receive calls.
    • Send messages to your GizmoGadget™ - Send short text messages to your child's GizmoGadget.
    • Manage your child's Gizmo - You can use GizmoHub app to change settings on the Gizmo like volume, ringtones and fun sounds.
    • Keep your child's information safe - You can protect this app by adding a PIN. Even if your phone is lost or stolen, your child's information will remain protected.
  3. How is GizmoHub 3.0 different from previous versions?

    General Changes:

    • GizmoHub 3.0 is now tied to your email address. To get all the new functionality GizmoHub offers, you'll need to create a new account using your email address.

Note: If you have an existing GizmoTab account, you can continue to sign in to it.

    • The new app now includes an overview dashboard to easily view your active Gizmos. This will provide you with general information about your Gizmo and allows you to access certain settings quickly.
    • Gizmos are now tied to child profiles that you set up. This allows you to tie specific Gizmos to a specific child and make adjustments as needed.

    Location feature changes:

    • There were some naming adjustments to better reflect the app's features. "Schedule locate" is now called "Time-based alert," and "Place alert" has been renamed "Location-based alert."

    Permission changes:

    • "Primary Caregiver" is now called "Guardian 1". Guardian 1 has the same permissions as the Primary Caregiver, and has full access to the Gizmo.
    • Guardian 1 and Guardian 2 are now able to adjust specific features available to Caregivers, like what notifications they'll receive.

  5. Why can't I pair my Gizmo after downloading GizmohHub 3.0 and creating a new account with my email address?

If you are the Guardian, make sure you didn't mistakenly revert to a previous version of the GizmoHub app. Previous versions of the app won't pair with your Gizmo. If you find you've reverted back to an older version of the app, please re-download GizmoHub 3.0.

If you are a Caregiver, make sure the Guardian has upgraded to GizmoHub 3.0 and created a new account using their email address. Once this is complete, you'll also need to download GizmoHub 3.0 onto your phone.

  6. Why can't I login to GizmoHub 3.0, and why am I getting a message that says my account does not exist?

If you recently updated your app to GizmoHub 3.0, you'll need to create a new account before using the new version of the app.

  7. Why can't I open GizmoHub 3.0?

Please try closing the app and re-opening it. If that doesn't work, you'll need to delete the application and re-download it.

If you continue to have issues opening the app after multiple attempts, please email us at gizmopalsupport@verizonwireless.com with the subject line: Can't log in to GizmoHub after multiple attempts.

  8. I skipped creating an account when I was setting up GizmoHub 3.0, and now I'm missing some functionality. How can I fix this?

If you've recently updated to GizmoHub 3.0 and skipped creating an account, you'll have limited access to your Gizmo.

We've allowed the option to skip account creation so that you have immediate access to your child's Gizmo in the event you don't have time to create an account. In this limited view, you'll only be able to locate, call and text the Gizmo (if applicable).

To have full access to the Gizmo, you'll need to create an account.

  9. Why can't I view a child in the GizmoHub 3.0 app after I created an account?

If you're a Caregiver, the Guardian will need to update to GizmoHub 3.0. Once the Guardian updates their app, you'll have access to the child’s Gizmo.

If you're a Guardian and you previously deleted the app, you can sync previously added contacts on the device by downloading the GizmoHub 3.0 app, adding your child's profile again, and pairing the Gizmo.

Note: If you had caregivers before the migration, please Restablecimiento de fábrica your Gizmo and pair the device and child’s profile again. Please inform all the caregivers to download the App and accept the invitation once you re-add them as caregivers in the new app.

  11. What should I do if I mistakenly deleted GizmoHub 3.0, and downloaded a previous version of the app?

You'll need to download the new app in order to create or sign in to your account.

  12. Why are my contacts and caregivers missing in the GizmoHub 3.0 app but showing on my Gizmo?

If you recently updated the GizmoHub app, but deleted it prior to creating a new account, it will result in losing contacts saved on the previous version of the app.

To add your contacts back, the Gizmo device will need to be reset/deleted from the child profile. Once deleted, you will be able to "add Gizmo" to the child's profile again and re-add all contacts with Gizmo.

Note: Caregivers will receive an invite to the child's profile once added. They may need to close the app and relaunch it if they don’t receive the invite.
