text message or call notification reminder going off every 30 seconds

has anyone else had trouble with this?  I have a Samsung Galaxy s6.  I've went through all the steps to turn this off or only go off every 15 minutes but it still goes off every 30 seconds until I clear the text or missed call.  I even took it by a Verizon store and they worked on it for 45 minutes and couldn't fix it.  It's driving me nuts!  This only started happening in the last couple of months and I've had the phone for quite a while.  Thanks!

Trouble doesn't last long. Did you recently update the software on your phone or download a new application to it?
