Why is my device randomly flashing?

Every so often the light on the back of my galaxy S7 edge randomly flashes, has anybody else experienced this? How do I get it to stop?

Curque, I understand the concern with having such a new phone. Lets figure out what's going on together.

Which light is flashing? The heart sensor or the camera light? When this happens, do you notice a new notification or text?

Did you happen to turn on any of the Accessibility settings?

It's the camera flash,  no its not when I get a notification

Curque, let's get that flashing under control. When did you first start noticing this? Had there been any recent update, new app or game added?

It was my email notification, it wouldn't pop up on my screen, but my phone flashes when I get a new email.....I feel pretty stupid lol. Thanks for the help.
