How can I get pictures off my S4 Mini that I didn't back up anywhere else?

How can I get pictures off my S4Mini that I (stupidly) didn't back up anywhere else?  My screen is not working and when I plug the USB into my computer I can access all my other picture folders (Instagram, Screenshots, SnapChat) but cannot find the 'regular' pics I took.

The pictures that you took with the phone's camera should be in a folder called DCIM.

Oh no! Without access to the screen, it would be difficult to locate the pictures via folders. Is the screen completely shot?  Are any of the pictures on your SD card?
