I updated my phone (Droid RAZR) earlier this week with the latest update. Since updating my battery life has decreased and I am constantly having to charge my phone. I have tried to kill apps that are draining the battery, but nothing seems to help. Does anyone have any advice to help with this problem?

Thank you for your reply, Kathy. May I ask how long your battery is typically lasting? When checking your battery stats through Settings>Battery, what are you showing as the highest power consumer? Our final step if Safe Mode did not show an increase in performance would be a Hard Reset of the device. http://support.verizonwireless.com/support/devices/knowledge_base.html/49625/
Please keep me update don the status!
Thank you,

Updates are here to help and not to hinder your phone kathy956. I'm sorry your having battery issues. How much is your battery draining compared to before the update? I am also suffering the same issues on a MAXX after the recent update. Battery burns out in an hour or two of use, rather than almost 24. Android OS is the highest user, rather than "display". Input is frequently frozen - i.e. phone is non-responsive.
This update basically made the phone unusable. How can I roll back? No new apps. This is definitely due to the OS "upgrade". Downgrade me PLEASE!

gary2169, we need more battery life than that! Let's see if we can get that back to the way it was. Try placing the device in safemode http://vz.to/1ba02Z9 and let us know how long that battery is lasting in safemode.

I went to the link you provided. I am already doing all that was suggested. Still have battery issues as Gary mentioned below.
