Not receiving short code sms

Like the title says, I am not receiving short code sms texts such as verification numbers from apps like Uber or Lyft. I have had Verizon for less than a month and I tranferred my number from my old plan.

Is the device you’re using now a new one, or is it a carryover from your prior

It is a new device, I traded in my old iPhone when I switched over.

Same problem.  New device, ported my number over from another provider.  Not receiving short-code SMS messages.  After hours on the phone with text support,  nothing.

Disregard.  After hours on the phone with tech support, I seem to have resolved it by changing my "Region".  Not sure how it's possible that I found the solution after all that, but it's done.  Can you helpe me in closing a work order Number?
