I bought two se 2020 for my wife and I. She can be sitting next to me and use her phone data and reciever calls and I have to be connected to WiFi all the time. The phones are set up exactly the same.

Chris221, that does seem a bit odd. Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. Our goal is to make sure that your device is working without any problems. Has this always been an issue on your cell phone? Is the cellular data switch turned on in your settings (Settings, Cellular, Cellular Data switch should be green)? Please keep us posted.
