Why is did my usage jump this month??

A jump in my usage for one month from 3.5 to 8.6 GB??? The average is 3.4 p/month Any suggestions why?

Review the on board data counter to see which applications are using the data.

I'm not sure about iPhones but I know Androids have had this ability since at least 2012 and here we are in 2019 and people somehow still do not know about this.
