My son will be studing abroad in Spain. What is the best internationall call plan to get from Verizon that is the most cost effective and easy to use.

Depends on the duration and use.
Travel pass is $10 per day used which is taking your domestic plan with you.
Flat rate 1: This is $70 for a calendar month. You get 100 mins, 100 texts and .5GB of data.
Flat rate 2: This is $130 for 250 minutes, 1,000 texts and 2GB of data.
