Issues with new Iphone 7 Plus

I have always had iPhones.  Within the past two months, I purchased a new iPhone 7 plus from Verizon. I was so excited to get this phone initially because of the larger screen and I am used to iPhones.  I have so many issues with this phone!   I don't know if it is the iPhone 7 Plus or just a lemon, either way, I am extremely unsatisfied with this purchase.

The following are the issues I am consistently experiencing with this thing:

1.  The sound is terrible, everyone keeps telling me it sounds like I am far and muffled half the time they hang up because they can't hear me.

2.   It drops calls frequently

3.   Half the time, I cannot disconnect a call, I can hit the disconnect button multiple times and will not hang up!

I really hate this iPhone!  OH and Verizon is charging me 769.99 + tax for this piece of [Removed]!

Anyone else having these issue?

Leeann, we want nothing more than for you to enjoy your phone.  We are here to help get your phone back up and running smoothly.  Has there been any physical damage done to your phone?

Are you using Wi-Fi calling?

Because you described several issues, we recommend that you "reset all settings" on the phone.  Follow the link for instructions: http://vz.to/2jqHrqR

Do you have HD Voice turned on?

I'd try it with it turned on/off. Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Enable LTE > Data Only (voice/data will not work at the same time but it is worth trying). My iPhone 7 has crystal clear voice.

I am having the same issue!  I thought it was just certain people on landlines that were having trouble hearing me, saying I sounded muffled or "far away".  I got my new 7 almost a year ago (right upon release) and the first thing I noticed is how it sounded weird when I was on a call, almost like the speakers were broadcasting the other person from behind the phone (?)..hard to explain.  However, I have owned iPhones since my 4s and I upgrade to the new version every 2 years religiously.  This is the first time I have noticed serious sound quality issues.  I have a few Verizon users I talk to and they don't notice any call quality degradation. So, this seems like a Verizon issue and not an iPhone issue.

Any resolution would be greatly appreciated!  I have tried changing my call settings (HD Voice, etc) without any improvement.

Thanks!

HEACRA20, as our valued customer, your service concerns are always our concerns too. Hearing that some callers are not able to hear you clearly when they're speaking to you on your mobile device doesn't sit well with us. We'd certainly like to assist you in resolving this matter as quickly as possible.

I noticed your reference to this issue happening with land line phones. Is this issue only happening with some land line phone users? I'm confident we can get to the bottom of this matter.

I also noted the troubleshooting steps you've already completed (e.g. changing your device's call settings (HD Voice, etc.) which has resulted in no improvement in the quality of your calls with land line phone users.

Are you experiencing this issue with some land line phone users not hearing you clearly when you're calling or receiving calls while you're in a specific location? (Zip code)

To assist you in improving the quality of your calls, I recommend resetting the network settings of your device. I've provided info here to assist you at: http://vz.to/2r3QQov. Please keep us updated on your progress. RobertC_VZW
