iPhone 6s SIM card error

I have an iPhone 6s which ia about a year old. Just recently, it started dropping calls on a regular basis. When I looked at the screen I noticed the top left corner where the signal strength usualy is, says "No SIM Card"?

I must reboot the phone to make it work again.

Any thoughts on why this may be happening and what I can do about it?

Sounds like the phone's losing communication with its SIM card, which is what lets it communicate with your carrier's network. Try removing your SIM, making sure there's no debris on it, and re-inserting it. it should be in a tray on the right side of your phone that you can eject by pushing a pen or paperclip into. I'd also try resetting network settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings). If you keep having the problem after those steps, take it to a corporate Verizon store and they'll give you a new SIM card.
