I want to send emails using my data and do not want to access the WIFI in my office building, but when I turn off WIFI, the messages don't go through. What settings do I need to change to do this?

its an issue with your email client. have you tried outlook app from playstore or gmail. i had it happen using generic email in android but found using gmail or outlook, it works. gmail don't limit content and attachments. Hotmail does. also try disable mobile data, and re enable. worse yet, reset all networks settings, NOT RESET PHONE, and one of these gotta work.

gailkarp - You have come to the right place. Sending emails and text messages using your mobile data is a must. Together we can make that happen. After you turn off your Wi-Fi do you see Verizon LTE on the top left hand side of your screen? Please go to Settings>Cellular. Scroll down and make sure that the switches are on (Green) for the services you want to use with your mobile data.
