Dropped calls on Iphone 5

Calls are dropped in my home.  zip code 77382.  what can i do?  I'm ready to trade in the phone and I've only had it 2 days.

tI only have 1 or 2 bars on my phone at all times.  I never had a dropped call on my dumb phone using the Verizon network.
