do you get a referbished phone and how do i know if it is referbished and why do we get those kind a not a new one if our phone is bad because of manufacture error?

If you have purchased Apple Care, then you will want to have the device evaluated and replaced direct by Apple. Verizon Wireless does not handle Apple care.
However, if its being replaced under the standard warranty from Apple, we do handle that! Under the warranty, a certified like new device of the same make/model is offered.
