After upgrading via prompt message to iOS 6 on my iPhone 4s, I now have excessive battery drainage and heating issues.
I searched several forum boards to shut down certain functions and use precautions.
However, it is still an issue.
Will Apple be implementing a fix for this, as there are a lot of people having the same issues?

acoyne, having a phone that overheats and drains the battery is definitely an issue we need to address. I was able to find reports of this being an issue but no current fix for it. If you have closed all your open apps and adjusted the background on your device but still continue to have the issue, we may need to replace the device. Your phone can be evaluated at a Verizon corporate store or Apple store. KinquanaH_VZW
