Is anyone experiencing frequent signal loss with iPhone 4 & iOS 6?

A few days ago, I saw that there was an update to iOS 6 for my 16GB iPhone 4.  Since the update, I have been experiencing frequent signal loss.  By this, I mean that the signal will be at a solid 5 bars, and then it will completely disappear.  It will often cause an app to pause, the upper-left will say "Searching..." and then it will come back with 5 bars again.

I also experience problems over some WiFi connections, and it seems that turning WiFi off and back on again temporarily resolves the problem.

I killed all of the apps but that didn't seem to do anything.  It is almost as if the process that handles connectivity to the Verizon network is crashing over and over again.

I haven't been making too many phone calls but I can only guess how much fun that would be with this behavior.

I have been experiencing the same issue with my phone {Iphone 4}, and that too is an issue. I have been in constant contact with Verizon over this. They are going to send me an replacement in the mail. I personally do not think that this will not address the issue over this new update. I believe that APPLE is going to need to fix the kinks out and make sure to update IOS6 for iphone 4 as well.

I resolved mine with a *228 option one

that's the thing..I've done that numerous of times {whenever i was on the phone with the Vzon tech} an that was not helping my phone out!!

I contacted 611 and they had me do this which has seemed to work so far.

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Following reboot dial *228 option 2.

I had done the *228 option 2 item previously but did not think to reset my network settings.  I will see how it does during the day and my drive home.  If it's fixed, I will mark you as correct.  Thanks!
