Downloaded the app. allowed access and it up loaded 37 contacts, deleting the other 900+ contacts.
It also deleted the last year's worth of notes.
Suggestions on how I retrieve all of the information I've been so careful to maintain for the last ten years?
I just deleted the app, restarted my phone and no contacts were restored.
However, after waiting another ten minutes they showed up again.
Notes have now reappeared as well.
I am relieved, but still disappointed that the "backup" works so poorly.
