What model phone do you have?  If it is an iPhone, I wold recommend calling Apple or going through Apple.com to get a warranty replacement.  If it is another model, and the phone is still under warranty, take it to the store where you got it.

What is the problem with the phone?  Asurion actually told you to have it replaced under the warranty?
