Hello everyone,
I purchased a used iPhone 5 online (currently have the 4S) and am on an old grandfathered family plan where I have unlimited data on my line. I would have thought this would have been as easy as going onto MyVerizon and activating the device after asking ESN (Have not completed the process because I do not want them to change my plan). Before I do that however, I want to ensure I am NOT losing my unlimited data. Again, I have not gotten a subsidized phone, this is me strictly buying a used one so I can keep my unlimited data and not change my plan.
I have been reading some stories where when they called they were forced to change my plan when going from 3G to 4G. I will simply NOT change my plan or change my stance on not keeping my unlimited data (and FYI I do not ever go over 2GB however I like having the option).
Any advice for me on how to do this? I am being overcautious because again, the sole reason for me to purchase a used iphone was to keep my unlimited data.
Thanks!
