I have some sounds that I recorded onto my phone (LG EnV Touch).  They were saved onto the memory card, under 'sounds'.  Now I need to get them to my computer.  I was able to email some as pix messages which worked perfectly; they came through as .wav files.  Two were too big, and two came through with a .qcp extension.

So my questions:  1) any ideas about the large ones, and 2) what the heck is a qcp file, and why were just these two singled out to be sent that way?  :smileysurprised:

Thanks in advance for any help!

Are they .qcp files on the memory card as well? Two other options for moving the files to your computer are via USB and directly from the SD card.  If the files are .qcp on the card, it won't matter, you'll still need a program to convert or read the .qcp files (try VLC Media Player).  But if the files are .wav on the card, then using USB or the card with a reader or adapter to transfer them directly to your computer would be a better option than emailing them.
