Hawken89, these days we all rely on our phones for those quick messages. We want yours to be going smoothly. It sounds like what you wish to do is send these messages to multiple recipients without creating a group. To do so, please go into Settings and see if Group Conversations is checked to Use MMS to start group conversations. If it is, uncheck it then restart the application and try out a new group message. As to the number showing, are the others that you are messaging using the Messages + app?
