Hello LCH3! Oh my! I realize how important pictures are especially from your vacation that you recently went on. I do hope you enjoyed yourself and had a wonderful time. I too just got back from vacation and took a lot of pictures too, so I completely understand! To confirm, you ensure you are hooked up to Wi-Fi on your iPhone, then go to Settings > iCloud > verify Photo's are ON, > go to Backup > verify iCloud Backup is ON/green > tap on Backup Now. If still unsuccessful, I would recommend going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings to reset the Wi-FI network on your phone. Power off fully and repeat the first set of steps.
