I've had the LG Lucid approx 1 month now. Have had same issue w/ hotmail account. (new emails stopped coming in even when I refreshed).
VZW store rep. could not get it to work either, & suggested downloading/using free hotmail app from the Play Store, formerly Android Market.
Affter the set up proccess, it worked well. The STRANGE thing is that as an experiment, I added this same hotmail accnt. back to the email app that had stopped working in the first place, (I had tried removing/ re adding as possible solution before getting hotmail app). And like magic, my emails came in again with this built in email app. So now I can accssess my hotmail with the built in email app, OR the hotmail app I downloaded!
When I informed The VZW Store of this, they had no explanation. Tech support by phone didn't either. PS. if you have WiFi set up on your phone, use it to get the app and save data. good luck.
