Ugh.  The other phone did not have "send as SMS when iMessage is unavailable" turned on.  Good thing I noticed that AFTER I posted here.

Shouldn't the iMessage default to SMS when it cannot get pushed?  I'll be on the phone for 30 minutes and I still don't get anything.

I cannot receive texts (iMessage for sure--haven't had any SMS opportunity yet) when I'm on the phone with someone.  Is there a way I can get those texts to come through during a phone call?
