It's acting like it's plugged into a speaker, which it's not. It will not play sound out loud, and there's no volume bar. And when it does, it's literally for 2 seconds then goes back to no sound...

It's acting like it's plugged into a speaker, which it's not. It will not play sound out loud, and there's no volume bar. And when it does, it's literally for 2 seconds then goes back to no sound... I have no idea what made it start doing this. It was not dropped or anything.... Any suggestions?
