Hello, I'm a Verizon customer in the US and my friend with a US number on a different carrier who is in Europe for a month. They bought an international text message bundle so they are able to send/receive texts from their phone. I'm wondering what the costs to me will be to text this American number in Europe, both for sending and receiving. I have an unlimited text message plan. Also, we both have iPhones, and they'll have wifi access at times. I assume there's no charge for sending an iMessage, correct? And theoretically, if we only communicated via that, it would be free for both of us? Thanks!
