I'm currently working on a hobby project where I'll need to track the GPS location of a phone on a computer via the internet. I don't need a full contract as I won't be using it for more than a month or two, so I was looking at getting a prepaid phone. From what I can tell, Family Locator should work fine to do the tracking, but my question is, can I get Family Locator on a prepaid phone? I think the only prepaid phone that would handle it would be the Samsung Intensity. Then I would pay $.99 per day that I use it, plus $9.99 a month for the months that it's active. Is this feasible with the prepaid plan? Thanks.
