HiSkyyWolf, I called Verizon and they had me go into Settings/Apps/Voicemail/Storage and first clear the cache by tapping the Clear Cache button, then clearing the data by tapping the Clear Data button. Then they had me reopen the app. It'll go through the accept terms screen and then your app should work again same as before. Hope this helps!
I had the same problem with my S7 after the Oreo update. Called Verizon Tech Support and they had me clear the app Cache then the app Data and restart the app. It's now working again.

The more I use my apps today after the update yesterday, the more I find most every WORKING function on Nougat they have destroyed with Oreo. Just discovered my editing capability is limited to a yellow highlighter or a purple??!!! pen on images. Then there's this useless battery fully charged icon that appears on the left side of the status bar...why??? We already had a battery fully charged indicator which now is redundant next to the clock. Add the loss of user interface customization in Settings to the list too. Everything that worked, Oreo has broken. I may drive to an Authorized Samsung repair facility and have them put Nougat back on if that's possible. I'm so beyond frustrated. Wonder if anybody who created this mess of an OS is listening?

Right?!! It's like yesterday I had a working phone, then updated to Oreo, and all has broken loose in all my apps. This voicemail issue is the worst but the runner up is the badges and notifications issue. It makes no sense what they've done to it. If a notification is swiped away, the badge count (or dot, whichever is used) disappears. Say it's a busy day and you've forgotten which notifications you've swiped away, then you've got no idea which apps received notifications. Why in the world take a perfectly running notification system and destroy it? I've always loved getting the new OS's...but I detest this Oreo update. It's almost literally broken my phone.

I've seen another report of this same thing although I don't remember if it was on the S7. When I open the app manually I get a blank screen, then it abruptly closes. When I get a voicemail, I just get the app close message. Oreo totally messed up this app and I can't reinstall it because it's not coming up in the app store and when I find it in Chrome, it says my device isn't compatible. Sorry I updated to Oreo now. I used this app constantly and now have to deal with calling *86 to see if I have voicemails and have to deal with the ridiculous bucketload of prompts.

My Verizon Visual Voicemail app is no longer compatible with my Samsung Galaxy S7 after I updated to Oreo. Is there a fix for this? Whenever I get a voicemail, the app "attempts" to open but then is forced shut. I cannot reinstall the app as it no longer appears in the Google Playstore and when searching Google Chrome for it, it says my device is not compatible with the app. It was BEFORE the Oreo update. I can only hear my voicemail by dialing *86 now. Also, I have no way to disable the app to avoid the app crashing every time I receive a voicemail and I do not want to uninstall the app in case a fix comes through. Which leads me to my question...can you fix the Verizon Visual Voicemail app so that it works on the Samsung Galaxy S7 again with Oreo? And yes, I've cleared all caches and shut down and restarted my phone and it did not fix the issue.
