I was having to do the same exact thing. I've had my power saver off for over a week now and it has worked great, of course besides my battery draining quicker, but I just got some extra chargers for work and my car.
There is apparently a small bug within the new update that can cause this when the"power saver mode" is on.
If you have power saver mode on, turn it off. I had to do this to get some of my applications to work correctly, one of them being Facebook.
It helped my Facebook app when I did it last week! It has worked great since I have turned mine off and it's been a little over a week.
As far as GPS, I'm not sure. I don't really use mine, so I'm a dead end on that one, sorry!

I commented on a post on here earlier last week and someone came in saying that there must be a small bug with the power saver mode. I have since turned mine off and my connectivity is working great now.

I had commented on a post on here earlier last week and someone came in and said there seemed to be a bug with the power saver. I have turned mine off since then and have not had an issue.

I was also having Wifi issues after the update and had commented on a discussion on here a few days ago. Someone on the discussion mentioned a bug being the power saver mode and to turn it off. I did that last Thursday and have not had a problem since. My battery does drain, but I have chargers in my car and at work for that.

I did the program in December, never got my money. I submitted all paperwork and I kept getting invalids and would correct them, only to get another invalid. Each time I would chat with a rep. I've now been told i'm outside the 60 day window and nothing can be done. I'm very upset with Verizon. Especially when all I'm doing is what the rep told me to do and reassured me that I was okay. We never get out trade in value cards from trading in our phones either since that is connected to it. I'm out on close to $550 all together.

I googled yesterday about it and read to toggle Airplane Mode and if that didn't help to turn off wifi and turn off your phone, then to turn your phone back on and turn wifi back on. I just tried that, so I will see if it helps.I'm definitely not a big fan of the update.

My biggest thing was the having to submit the information in by 60 days, they're saying that I did not do so, when I did. I had a rep tell me to resubmit everything, even though I asked about the 60 day mark, the assured me I was okay.

Well just got my final email from Verizon(senior specialist mentioned above) telling me I was no longer eligible for the credits and my money back because I went past the 60 day mark. I only did it after I was told that I could by a representative through chat. We had full intentions of eventually joining Verizon, but would never had done it so soon had it not been for the promotion they ran. So I'm out on about $500. Really upsets me, after I specifically asked about the time limit situation, but was assured I was okay on my time.

I recently cracked my S6 Edge screen while the phone was in my purse! I went into the store to see about getting the replacement one and was told it would be $149 deductible before I could get a new one and they would ship it to me. I am somewhat new to Verizon, I switched from AT&T. Has it always been this expensive? I have never cracked a phone out of all my years of having one, so I'm new to the whole process.

Yep, join the club. There are quite a bit of people fighting this [removal required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service] on here. I did the switch in late December and submitted all my information on January 20th. I kept receiving invalids, turns out I turned in the wrong bill. After I got the correct one, I contacted Verizon (through chat) and that rep told me to resubmit everything and for each line. I did so. I have received over 6 invalids and I think I am officially done trying with them. The last invalid I got was because I had missed the 60 day mark, although I was told to resubmit everything by the rep. I contacted them again yesterday and was told that there was nothing he could do and he would have to forward it on to senior specialists, I'm definitely not getting my hopes up for it. I hope they can use the money they were supposed to give me for something else.

You sound like us with our Rep in the store. He was very nice, but told us totally different things than what was in the fine print. He also didn't say anything about getting a credit for our trade ins which was $200, we were just told it would be the Visa card that we would receive in 2-4 weeks. I've been fighting this since January. I haven't even bothered to fight with the email to resubmit anything. Also, I was disconnected from the number they provided, after being told it was a non-working number.
