I'd like to know that to.  I have posts that prove they don't want to help you.  You are just a number!  The agents on this post that answer say they want to help but when you tell them what's wrong they never answer you and don't take care of anything. Could AmberK_VZW just be an automated computer that generates "we care about you" messages with no intent do actually DO anything.  I've been waiting over a week since the last VERIZON Customer support agent posted "you aren't just a number" my post as you can see it's been 1 week and NOTHING @AmberK_VZW

I replied to your message several days ago and never heard anything????  This is what I mean about just a number. We were talked into the Verizon Edge plan to save money. When we received our first bill it was $30 more than what was quoted and they've been making manual adjustments for the last 6 months. However now they say that they're not going to honor that and I need to decrease my plan in order to save money. In addition the reason she sold me on the edge plan was so that once a year we could upgrade our phones to the newer phone. She neglected to include the part about paying off the entire phone before you are eligible to upgrade to the next phone. After speaking and almost hanging up on with a high-level manager who basically told me sorry we can't help you if you have to leave then that's your choice I don't know that there's anything you can do to correct that problem. It seems that the customer service Representatives only tell you what you want to hear and then when you follow through to take advantage of what they told you would happen it's never what it supposed to be

I'm having the same issue and customer service doesn't seem to care anymore.  We have stayed with Verizon because ever since we were customers they have always been so friendly and willing to do anything to keep you happy.  Now I have Managers basically saying see ya we don't care what the problem is. I don't think they are even reading their own boards.  This is a major complaint all over this platform. If I see another post that says "we don't want to lose you as part of our family"  I think I will be sick.  REALLY!  There are thousands of people with the largest cellular company and they have this many issues. Jes76 let me know if you get anywhere with them....sadly I don't think you will.  they don't care

I use to brag about Verizon and their customers service.....now they just tell you what you want to hear make stuff up and when you call "nobody should have told you that" I guess there is only one way loyalty and that is Verizon will always bill you they are loyal to themselves!!!

Verizon use to have SUPERIOR customer service.  But if I'm just a number than I might as well be saving money while I'm not happy.  I was even told by a "manager" that it's my right to go to another company but they would not honor they discount that have been promised to me and adjusted monthly for 6 months. My entire office, my parents, my inlaws.....all because I referred them due to their customer service.  What a joke!!!

I know this is an old message but apparently I should have looked at this post before I listened to Verizon last year.  Customer service is horrible they tell you one thing and do another.  I use to brag about the Customer service & how they take care of their customers.  Now they don't care if you are with them or another carrier buys you out

I'm canceling to...SO angry and sick to death of being lied to!  They "helped" me upgrade to a new phone a year ago and "sold" me on the idea that my bill would stay the same and the BEST part is that once per year if a new phone came out I could trade it in to get the newest phone. What a line of BULL....first of all the bill went up $30 a month and when I called to complain they said they don't know why that happened. second....OH you can trade your phone in but pay $400 for a phone they will only give you $200 for.  That is a complete LIE they told me. I'm calling Sprint today!  There are too many companies out there that will buy your contracts I don't have to be lied to and pay rediculous amounts that I was promised wouldn't happen. Call a supervisor ...LOL yeah right I got the rudest "gentleman" I ever talk to that basically said well sorry but we can't help you and you are more than welcome to leave. So much for " The last thing we want is to see you leave our family. "
