Try this:Email > Settings> Server Settings > Uncheck SYNC SMS.
Go to settings, Applications, Application manager,Scroll to right to ALL, open settings (three dots) and click reset app preferences.

If you go in Play Store and read the reviews you will that this an app problem that started after the 7/30/2014 app update,It is effecting all phones. You will better off contacting Wells Fargo and asking them to fix the app.
Open the text app, then open setting, then press the menu button on bottom left of phone. A box will open asking if you want to restore the default settings.
Emoji's are there. To access you open the keyboard. Press on the speaker icon on bottom left, this will open a submenu. Click on the smiley face to get all the emoji's.
Go to settings, accessibility then click on text to speech output, then click on Driving mode, uncheck unlock screen and it will stop giving you the time.
Go to setting, click on wifi, click menu button (bottom left) click advanced uncheck auto-connect.
