If you want to keep your unlimited plan, go to a Verizon Corporate store (not a re-seller) and pay full price for your new device; not the discounted price. That is the rule and has been in effect for at least two years. If you do this, be CERTAIN before consummating the transaction that they are NOT changing your plan. Once it is changed, there is no way to change it back, NONE. All carriers change their plans from time to time. Verizon isn't any different.
