Re: unlimited data plan a customer for 15 years, uses less than 1gb per month and paid for unlimited just to keep it for future needs, npw I need to upgrade phone and ill have to give it up.. verizon is unfair for not compenssating me in no way as a long

If you want to keep your unlimited plan, go to a Verizon Corporate store (not a re-seller) and pay full price for your new device; not the discounted price. That is the rule and has been in effect for at least two years. If you do this, be CERTAIN before consummating the transaction that they are NOT changing your plan. Once it is changed, there is no way to change it back, NONE. All carriers change their plans from time to time. Verizon isn't any different.
