log into your verizon account and check the data usage then the data utilization tool. that will tell you what device used the data and what the data was used on. (music, video, web browsing)

(yes family base is a feature on one of the lines) Or call into customer service and tell them that you want it removed. It will take about 24 hours for the feature to fully drop off the account.
Check your settings and disable LTE. the network extender is 3g only. If you have LTE enabled it will not connect correctly to the extender.
Disable Google + in the application manager, this will stop that message from popping up again.
The phone is brobably in "silent" mode or "all sounds off" is turned on in the settings. Find a manual for your phone and check the settings.

If you had backed up everything to eith Icloud ot the Verizon cloud, just re-sync with that cloud app.

As far as the camera not focusing, that  may be fixed with a software update.(along with all the other problems.) if not then back up the device and factory reset it. Try using samsung KIES on a PC to do the backup. ( www.samsung.com/kies ) This can also repair the software/update the operating system.
