A place to start to fix MY GALLERY issues is :  Settings / Manage Apps / ALL (tab) - scroll to MEDIA STORAGE and press CLEAR DATA & reboot phone.  (This doe NOT wipe your files ..  but rather refreshes the directory the first time youlaunch it -- which can take a while if you have a lot of files.) Yes, WiFi works with CDMA disabled ..  I just used it while in Italy ...   I just set my phone to Airplane mode and logged into WiFi in every hotel we stayed at ...

Did you confirm on the Verizon web site (Your Account settings online) that Text Messaging is ENABLED for this new phone?  I'd start there. Take a look at the Messaging section and see what the status is of TXT msgs that were sent to you. And if everything is active, give Verison CS a call ....  Looking at the Settings fro Messenger I don't see any ACCOUNT settings on the phone -- seems like it's all done on the Verizon site.  Good luck.

Couple more trouble-shooting things: - Another free APP - "OpenSignal". There is a Cells tab, if you click on the cell you are connected to, it will tell you what type of connection it is. For example, the one I am connected to right now say Type: LTE-4G  ... you can scroll through the list, clicking on them 1 at a time, and see when 4G "broke" ... - Also, a free Moto App that "restores" your 4G Settings:  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.motorola.android.restoreapn.droidrazr Good luck

@B33 - 2.3.4 is the correct Android version and the new System Version update brings it to 4.5.621  .. so indeed it looks like they're rolling it out.

I think that's reasonable, but of course only you can decide how long you're willing to sit on a specific price. The DX's are starting to flood my local market -- mainly because there are a lot of us with our 2 year term coming up in the next 6 months.

So Stacey - all the more reason to make sure you either get your stuff copied off the card - or when you get your new one, don't let them Factory reset (or flash) the phone with your card in the new phone -- else they MAY end up reformatting your card!  Hopefully they'll just give you the replacement w/o the card & already "set up" ready for you. Then just stick the card in and you're ready to go with data preserved..

First off, with the GB update, "link" is now called "join" (go figure).  To JOIN 2 contact entries, you first click on a Contact, then click on Menu/Edit ... then in Edit mode, click on Menu again - one of the options is JOIN. As far as "added friends to FB and they're not there - you DO have the Facebook Account added to My Accounts, right? If so, you could try removing it, rebooting, then re-add it .. of course do this BEFORE you go through the pain of JOINING them, else you'll lose anything you JOIN upon removing the account. When did the problem start?  Sounds like you have a rogue/faulty APP casuing yor grief. How freqnetly does it happen? If reproducable or frequent enough, I'd run in SAFE MODE for some period of time to see if the problem goes away. If it DOES goes away, you have a faulty APP and time to start uninstalling APPS.  If it also happens in SAFE MODE, might be time to consider doing a Factory Reset -- this is what Verizon will have you do anyway if you call them for help. But if you decide to go this route, make sure you don't just automatically reiinstall all your APPS else you could just install the APP causing your issue all over again.   Let us know if you need help doing any of this. SEARCH is your friend and these procedures are well documented.

Here's one such FREE one:   https://market.android.com/details?id=great.app.luck&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImdyZWF0LmFwcC5sdWNrIl0.   You may consider using a different APP and see if your issue goes away.  good luck.
