If you don't want to be called because your bill is paid late then pay on time.

The fact of the matter is that your bill is the same every month (unless you have overages) and it is due the same date every month. You should be able to plan for that. Put it on a credit card with a due date that better matches your pay schedule. Or ask VZW for a one time billing date change to help get your bill due closer to when you get paid.

I get paid from my job once a month but I manage to make my payments when they're due.
