ok so here's the deal, i was with verizon wireless for 5 months. To start off my service with them, i did the promotion where you buy one s7 and get the other one free. Long story short, i finally got my rebate, used it to pay off one of my phone while using cash to pay off the other. So, good i got both phones paid off. Now i can finally leave verizon. I expected a last statement from them, but with it i was charged a ridiculous amount! $1064 for a device payment buyout charge, and $672 for line 1 and $672 for line 2. I called customer service, finally got a hold of them and they told me that the $672 charge is because i cancelled verizon service before month 6. Therefore, I have to pay back the rebate money. But the thing is i only got one rebate card, yet i am charged for two??? The representative couldn't help me further and tells me to go to a corporate store. Someone please find me the fine print of where i have to return rebate money.
