What network type are you seeing with low signal? It should be 1X, 3G, or LTE. Calls and texts ride over the 1X network. How is the reception outdoors?
Verizon only cares about making money. The coverage here is spotty and I have two dead areas on my drive to work in a rural area. Instead of giving 100% coverage they are more worried about rolling out 4G and 5g instead of filling in the holes.
